Camera Critters - Nyles

This is one of our four kitties in our home. His name is Nyles Imhotep, named after the brother of the main character in the comedy show Frasier (Nyles Crane). His middle name is in honor of the great nobleman of ancient Egypt, Imhotep, who was a physician, philosopher, and architect among other things for the Pharaoh. I figured paying tribute to this man may bring about good luck and health to this kitty. I've been right, he came into my life sick with a cold back in 2002 when I adopted him from our local SPCA, but has been healthy ever since.

Unfortunately, he must have gotten into a scuffle with another animal a few weeks ago and he ended up with a bite on the base of his tail which got infected and became medication resistant. Luckily though, with the help of the great vets and my mom who is so adept at giving kitty medications (and maybe a little "prayer" to Imhotep) he received a clean bill of health this past Thursday - fever gone and wound almost all healed.
